BIO

Karolyn Pearson’s team of videographers and editors has produced over 50 videos and social media clips for higher education clients, including the University of Pennsylvania, American University Washington College of Law, Loyola University New Orleans and Whittier College. Karolyn is also the Executive Producer of the agency’s podcast, What’s Your Why?, which invites college and university presidents to share what drives them in their challenging roles.

In her role as Strategy Officer, Karolyn and her team work to improve business operations to align with the company’s long-term goals. She also serves as an Account Director, working closely with clients on media relations, presidential communications, speech writing and crisis management.

Karolyn is an Emmy Award–winning producer who worked at CBS News for nearly a decade. She also produced videos and planned for major news events at NASA’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory in Southern California. She has overseen dozens of high-profile interviews and has experience creating content for broadcast and digital platforms under tight deadlines. She earned a bachelor’s degree in journalism from Colorado State University and recently completed a master’s in public administration with a focus on nonprofit management.

Karolyn and her husband, Chris, live outside of Denver. She loves running, spinning, skiing and hiking and recently backpacked the 72-mile High Sierra Trail.
