Balancing work and school and paying expenses are the main impediments community college students say are impeding their success, according to the Revealing Institutional Strengths and Challenges (RISC) survey.

However, while students have these pressing concerns, they overwhelmingly enjoy their experience at community college. When surveyed, 95 percent stated they would recommend their college to a friend, and another 96 percent said that community college was worth what they paid for, if not more.
