A survey finds that of 59 percent of teenagers who planned to attend a four-year college, a greater percentage were girls (68 percent) versus boys (51 percent).
The study conducted by the Pew Research Center also found that 12 percent of teens planned to enroll in a two-year college and 73 percent of teens with parents with a bachelor’s degree were more likely to attend a four-year institution.
