In a new report from Burning Glass Technologies, hybrid jobs, which combine two previously unrelated skills together, are more frequently being seen in job postings.

The company analyzed job postings between 2013 to 2018 and noted that more employers desired workers with skills that were both technical and creative.

As hybrid jobs aren’t usually entry level, the report notes candidates would need more experience or training beyond college, and colleges and universities should be teaching students how to combine skill sets.
