Who You Are:
- A proactive and results-driven early-career communications professional looking to take that next step in your public relations career. Our account executives are responsible for supporting account teams and driving the implementation of communication tactics and tools.
- Creative and resourceful, you take initiative and are willing to problem solve. You approach both mundane and high-profile tasks with energy and enthusiasm.
- Flexible and adaptable, you enjoy doing work that requires frequent shifts in direction.
- You’re an excellent writer, able to write quickly, persuasively and clearly in a variety of styles and on a wide variety of topics, at times on tight or unexpected deadlines.
- You have exceptional interpersonal and communication (written, verbal, listening) skills and are able to cultivate and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, partners and the media.
- An organized self-starter, you can juggle multiple projects at once with minimal supervision.
- You likely have at least two years of public relations work experience, with an interest or background in higher education and/or the media industry.
- You’re looking for a significant role in a small, collaborative company where you’ll have the opportunity to grow and do work that makes a difference.
How You’ll Grow
- You’ll work with a fun and high-performing team to develop and implement creative communication solutions for college and university clients.
- You’ll get to flex your strategic planning and management skills as you lead projects and provide excellent client services through project management and communications planning and implementation: managing day-to-day project activities, managing traffic flow, overseeing the execution of deliverables and ensuring quality control.
- You’ll gain incomparable experience in higher education communications, working with a wide variety of clients on everything from media relations, executive communications and thought leadership to issues management.
