Kevin joins RW Jones having held leadership positions in communications at a range of higher education institutions during a career spanning almost 30 years. His latest role was associate vice president and CMCO at The Catholic University of America in Washington, D.C., where he worked during both the tumultuous Trump administration and the COVID- 19 crisis. Previously, Kevin served as vice president for communications at Franklin & Marshall College in Lancaster, Pa., where he and the communications team were successful in raising the national visibility of the college regarding it’s innovative “talent strategy” for student recruitment. Prior to F&M, Kevin was director of strategic communications for the nation’s 8th-largest public university at the University of South Florida in Tampa. His many years of communications experience in higher ed also includes service as director of university communications at Ball State University, as director of media relations for Earlham College, and as director of television productions and photography at the University of Notre Dame, all in Indiana.
Holder of a bachelor's degree in English and journalism from Western Michigan University, Kevin's early professional life was spent as a daily journalist working in both newspapers and TV broadcasting, including time on assignment as a network field producer for NBC News.
