Senior Vice President
Jennifer has over 20+ years higher education experience, particularly in the areas of strategy, diversity, and culture. She has helped over 100 institutions develop strategic plans throughout her consulting career, and has coached numerous executives with culture and leadership challenges along the way. Throughout her career she has built a reputation as a truth-teller who practices radical candor; a passionate former faculty member who believes in shared governance; and an expert on finding efficiencies in operations while striving to maximize the potential of those she serves. Before moving into consulting full-time eight years ago, Jennifer served at the executive level at large state institutions, regional comprehensive public campuses, and small independent institutions.
When not engrossed in client work, you will often find her on stages around the country performing as a musician and actor, a second career she has maintained since she graduated from the Hartt Conservatory of Music. She also holds a Masters in Counseling and a dual title PhD from Penn State in Curriculum and Instruction and Gender Studies. When she’s not serving clients or performing, you may also find her making mischief with her 75 rescue plants, two rescue rat terriers, rescue Turkish Van cat, and wife of over 18 years in her home in Greensboro, NC.
