Rossall Willyerd Holdings seeks a Controller/Operations Manager to help financially oversee and operate several companies that remain under its purview. The successful candidate will have experience with financial record keeping, accounting/taxes, and bill pay. This position is full time and remote.

The RW Jones Agency d/b/a Dick Jones Communications is a premiere strategic communications firm serving the education space. The firm employs nearly 25 full-time staff members nationwide. Rankin Climate is one of the nation’s premier climate survey firms that has served higher education. Rankin is a consulting firm that will focus on workplace climate, diversity, equity and inclusion training and TIX consultation.
Work Duties
RW Jones: We will be looking for strategic counsel and guidance in the following areas:
Bookkeeping and journal entries and bill pay.
Invoicing for all clientele. Knowledge of online record keeping systems such as Quickbooks or other accounting software is a must.
Organizing and ensuring we have the proper insurances. Continue to work with the group’s insurance broker to ensure we have COIs and other pertinent information.
Financial planning and budgeting. This person will have a role with senior leaders in helping them to manage, budget and streamline work for our organization.
Help us organize and keep contract renewals in the purview of account executives.
Payroll: We currently work with an outside payment system. We would expect that you would continue to work with our accountant who manages this.
Oversee HR for RW Jones. This includes working with us on onboarding employees, purchasing materials for their arrival and helping to orient them to the company.
Rankin Climate:
Bookkeeping and journal entries. This includes full oversight of A/P and Invoicing for Rankin Climate.
Working with partners on A/R
Payroll: We currently work with an outside payment system. We would expect that you would continue to work with our accountant who manages this.
Oversee HR for Rankin. This includes working with us on onboarding employees, purchasing materials for their arrival and helping to orient them to the company.
Salary & Benefits: Salary commensurate with experience. Range is between $65-$80k. We provide access to medical, dental and vision. There is a 401K with three percent employer match and an unlimited vacation schedule.
